Free Verse # 81

Your lips stroke my body
like waves under the moonlight
lapping the shores of eternity.

~

My heartbeats I pluck
one by one to wrap them in a bouquet,
each flower passionately sighing
the fragrance of your name.

~

You touch my heart and it is a burning coal.
You blow your breath and lo!
it is flame-eaten by desire.
Then, your white hands
enter my chest and take it,
scatter its dying embers
on the face of the sky,
each a star unfolding
a silent whisper
on the still face of dawn.
