Free Verse # 171 (this love)

This love,
every moment
a flower blossoming in your hair.
This love,
ecstasy brooding silently
in the deep pools of your eyes.

~

Free falling into me
my voice envelops you
like a wet veil of dreams,
inside of you echoes,
each ripple
a vision of ecstasy
burning deep…

~

…and when the day ends
laying into me his whole weight
longing inside of me yells
with an incredible ache
to melt in your embrace…

~

Let my whispers serenade you,
a leaf lulled in the autumn wind
and falling to my palms.

~

Whilst you sleep
my words like fireflies
gather over your head,
steal into your breath,
your murmuring blood,
and weave me into your dreams.

~

This breath leaving my chest
shall gather from the flowers their scents
and, with dawn’s first light, kiss your face,
breathe them into you.

~

Your touch wields the secret of the birth of the stars.

~

My eyes open at dawn
and your name like a butterfly
leaves my thirsty mouth
and goes on fluttering
through the flowers of longing
blossoming in the red sky
suckling their wild nectar
and bringing back
to my parched tongue
and burning blood
the scared and sweet
taste of you…

~

Nothing is more profound than a well placed kiss.

~

Here, my love, sink your teeth and draw your sustenance, feed your brazen want on my spirit and blood, on my breath and heat.

~

Kissing her pomegranate cheeks
under the silent moon and stars,
her whole body
like the flower of passion
blossoms in his arms.

~

I be your enchanted forest, you enter me and never come back.

~

What is your kiss if not an absolution, a libation that cleanses the soul from the inside out.

~

My breath
charged with the surge of a thousand suns
shall swirl around your neck
rooting you, in me.
