Lovers’ Poetry

His poetry spilled crimson to her skin
As Dionysus held a feast therein.
The horizon dimmed and she closed her eyes
Feeling her swamped core ever wildly spin.
Breathless and warm she awakened to find
His eyes caressing her, loving and kind.
Embracing so close, their poem a sky,
Their fingers like roots eternally twined.
