The Fragrance of Her Breath

In the shelter of her sighs
the bird curls his wings
and sleeps through the night;
waking at dawn from her lips he sings
the fragrance of her breath,
his song, her breath,
wisps of radiant clouds
traveling the earth,
caressing the cheeks
of flowers, leaves, and skies,
waking all to the glory of life.
