Crushed heart…
all the fragments
embers in the dark sea
melting, fading,
birds that once sang
now voiceless
await the dawn
~
Silent outcry…
into the pond of dusk
a heart’s weeping song
~
Autumn full moon
into her navel
he pressed,
a white ocean
billowing inside.
~
Even on my deathbed
your face in my heart
will make the world
dance and dance
~
Her perfume on my lips ~
This poem a flute
Uttering her fragrance
Into a radiating cloud
Breathing into the air
The blessings of her light
~
Twilight breeze
scattering memories
like fallen leaves…
Dewdrops
finding the silent grass,
I too will fade
~
The moon last night
Crafting white notes in her hair,
White jasmines
Into the night air sighing
The essence of poetry.
~
His kiss –
veneration poured
into a vessel,
into her every curve etching
a fervent light,
a burning star whirling
like a dervish in the night
~
My poem a butterfly,
wherever she may flutter
in her heart
a secret longing she carries,
your burning fragrance
resounding from her core.
~
Towards your womb
this last poem sets sail,
fading into the night
~
Through the world
as through mist
my poem travels,
a lone bird seeking
the nest of your heart.
~
Combing her hair…
the dewing stars rippling
the nocturnal pond
