Haiku # 257

These heartbeats…
a pitter-patter on her cheeks,
a riot on her bones

~

Evening coffee…
our conversations sprawling
through the curves of time

~

I write as I live
and my words burn…
solitary stars

~

In the dark
her areolas glared,
two velvet stars

~

At the sodden crossroads
where the poem melts…
deep between her thighs

~

Meet me at the ocean
where the rivers of all our years
shall merge as one

~

Not less solitary
because you shine…
moon in autumn sky

~

Ease into me…
a flower gossiping
with the moon at night
