Haiku # 257

These heartbeats…
a pitter-patter on her cheeks,
a riot on her bones

Evening coffee…
our conversations sprawling
through the curves of time

I write as I live
and my words burn…
solitary stars

In the dark
her areolas glared,
two velvet stars

At the sodden crossroads
where the poem melts…
deep between her thighs

Meet me at the ocean
where the rivers of all our years
shall merge as one

Not less solitary
because you shine…
moon in autumn sky

Ease into me…
a flower gossiping
with the moon at night
